AMINE GAS SWEETENING DPS Delta sweetening units will accept a various number amine solvents in order to remove specific contaminants such as corrosive CO2 and toxic H2S. The sweetening package has the following main items of equipment:-
The amine packages are designed and fabricated in accordance with ASME and NACE MR-01-75. Other major international codes and standards can be accommodated. The heat source for the amine reboiler may be gas fired/ hot oil/or steam. PROCESS DESCRIPTION Sour gas enters the contactor tower via the integral scrubber and rises through the lean amine solution. The sweetened gas exits the top of the contactor tower. The rich amine passes from the tower to the flash drum and then passes to the heat exchanger where it is heated by the regenerated lean amine. The rich amine enters the stripping column where the heat from the reboiler liberates the H2S/ CO2 contaminants. The acid gases are cooled in the reflux condenser and separated in the reflux accumulator. The lean amine is cooled prior to being pumped back to the top of the contactor tower.
